Hyper4Rail Explained
This project aims to achieve the following goals

By working with key stakeholders such as, operators, infrastructure managers, governments, and industry an operational concept is developed for hypelroop in Europe. From this a system architecture and system requirements for the industry will follow. Resulting in a commonly agreed Hyperloop Concept Design between developers in Europe

The role of hyperloop in Europe’s future multimodal mobility network and its alignment to TEN-T is worked out. For specific routes on the network the business case for hyperloop is analysed based on the commonly agreed concept.

In collaboration with the industry the technological readiness of the concept is checked and missing gaps are validated through prototyping and adaption of existing solutions from other adjacent industries.

A plan will be developed for the industry on with the next steps to develop hyperloop and for the public sector with steps to accelerate roll-out. As well as a lay-out of a 1:1 scale demo facility to validate the full-system.

Hyperloop is aims to deliver significantly shorter travel times with extremely low energy consumption. Its ambition is to revolutionize European connectivity, reshaping its social and economic geography in the long-term.
It does so by operating within a near-vacuum environment, minimizing air-resistance, allowing vehicles to propel at high speeds with lower energy usage.
